Had a very quiet Sunday, LNR being in Oxford and no more computer fiddling remaining to do. Back to work on Monday, which was a bit quieter than the last couple of weeks (fortunately, as they were exhausting).

Emma came to visit on Tuesday evening, and after dinner we all headed of to The Calling, which I mostly enjoyed. Wednesday found a simple but annoying bug which can be worked around easily enough but will make us look bad if we release with it in, but will apparently derail the testing department's schedule too badly if we make the relevant change so close to the release. Got back to find our guest had done the washing up while we were gone; she can stay again l-)

Now waiting for Eleanor and Emma to get back from the various places they've gone. Spent the evening reading and geeking; LNR's new computer is noticably faster than mine...

Ah, do I detect geek-envy and thus the buying of more hardware for your machines ?

Not in the next month. But I was planning to upgrade our server machine sometime, and if the best way to do that is for my current desktop hardware to take over its role and be replaced, well...

It was a good Calling, if a little quiet, but Wednesday mornings after the Calling kill me almost as much as the Wednesday mornings after Intrusion in Oxford.

Ouch. Head. Hurts.

I still need to get over to Intrusion at some point when I'm less zogged. And persuade Steve to come over for the Calling too.
