Transport

My bike's gears have been getting steadily madder for a while now. I had a go at adjusting them on Thursday night and while I didn't make things any worse I didn't make them any better. A day in the bike shop has left them in good shape again though.

Have failed to do anything about the car.

Saw an unusual vehicle on the way home - a motorbike with a sort of half-open cab on it. It had an L plate but whether it's a training bike or something new I don't know.

Work going not too badly, might have something that colleagues can install and play with early next week.

Those covered moped things seem to be fairly popular on the continent, I remember seeing several in France. I noticed one here a couple of months ago. Surprising it's taken so long to appear really, given the climate in England suggests a cover for a moped would be a good idea.

Did the unusual motorbike look like these? If so, it's BMW's take on the standard commuter moped/scooter. I don't think I've ever seen one outside a motor show!

Hmm. Could well have been. While I did get pretty close to it my attention was largely occupied with other things, of course...

Possibly the BMW C1 (http://www.bmw-c1.com/en/index.html) - it's been around for a few years, since it was ready for production in '96.
