I've sold my car. To do: tell insurers and DVLA.

Too tired to swim much yesterday evening, but enjoyed the quiz afterwards.

I see you've got your priorities straight here: first tell your blog readers, and then tell your insurers and the DVLA. ;^b

Get insurers and DVLA to read blog; problem solved.

Personally, given my occasional references to travelling at substantial speeds, I'm not sure I want my insurer reading Livejournal…

My back-of-the-envelope calculation suggests I'd be about £400/year worse off with a replacement car than without, ignoring the cost of the replacement itself (which I'd expect to easily double that figure). So, no.

Nice to see someone else with a sensible if-I-need-one-I'll-get-one attitude towards car ownership. (I got rid of mine when I came to London.)

Hiring when needed makes more sense, especially in London.
