Bins and wind

The bin men, or possibly some kind passing citizen, left our black bin in the corner, sheltered from the wind, so it was still upright when I got home.

The green bin is on its side, though doesn't seem to have spilled anything. It's neat enough that it's plausible it was deliberately lowered. I think I'll leave it in the more stable state until the wind has died down.

The black box I retrieved this morning after it was emptied, I suspect it'd have been most of the way down the road by now otherwise.

It is very stormy here most of the nights. I hear the wind especially last night. I have never seen our dustbins or from the neighbours on the floor. Maybe it is just that the houses are so near to each other that they protected from that storm. I always see bins on the floor in other street and also an almost fallen tree. It was in the ground but the roots must have been loose under the lawn.

Our black box (which had about four weeks worth of bottles etc in due to holidays starting on the wrong-week's bin day twice) managed to blow off the table it sits on outside and distribute its content all over the garden :(.
