Need more sleep

Brett Easton Ellis is to much excitement for you?

I sympathise, as I also slept very badly again. Now running on empty, sustained only by emotion and caffienenated beverages. I'll know I've hit bottom when I find myself spooning the instant coffee directly into my mouth. Probably about 3pm.

I didn't end up having nightmares, but in retrospect I'm not sure it was the best film to pick to see. Really enjoyed watching it, and glad I did, but it was a bit harrowing in places, and I did find myself dwelling on it a bit while failing to sleep very well last night either. Not nice. *shudder*.

Mind I'd still recommend it.

One of the nightmares may have been inspired by it, yes. The other was less directly gory but more disturbing. I'm not sure I'd attribute the sleep loss to the nightmares though...

Mmm, chocolate covered coffee beans.

I've not actually got to the point of licking up the instant coffee spilled on the kitchen unit yet, but I'm close. Sympathy to [livejournal.com profile] rjk and you and anybody else who slept badly.

Now running on empty
