More Thursday

...oh yeah, bought a tent in advance of going to Glastonbury. Haven't been camping for years, and wondering what else we'll need. Pub in the evening was good, nice to talk to [livejournal.com profile] meirion.

Wellingtons, and iron constitution and the ability not to use a toilet for four days.

HTH.

[oh, and sunblock]

You don't really need to worry about food at Glasto as long as you don't mind eating fast food the whole time. I do recommend some sort of water-carrying device though if you want to make cuppas &c, the queues for the taps are horrendous once everyone wakes up, and just don't expect to be able to wash full stop. And take some bog roll just in case they run out too.

And can I just say you jammy sods, I wish I was going just for the circus field :)

Take a torch and a multitool/penknife. Personally, I carry such things with me all the time anyway, but they're especially important when camping.
