If you want to get a head, get a hat.

[livejournal.com profile] simont made it for me... he might be able to make you one if you asked him? I never knew there was such a thing as a dodecahedral badger until he presented me with it in the pub one night! :-)

Making one would be easy enough, but <f/x: checks userinfo> posting it transatlantically while keeping it in one piece might be a bigger challenge. It might be easier all round if I just provided PDFs of the net (for a choice of paper sizes), to be assembled as near as possible to the intended destination...

You also needed "rotationally invariant" for [livejournal.com profile] senji...

But that's an icosahedron!

Actually, it looks like it's a truncated octahedron (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/TruncatedOctahedron.html), except the vertices were further truncated than the one pictured at mathworld.

Ahh, it's a cuboctahedron (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Cuboctahedron.html) (which name [livejournal.com profile] jiggery_pokery thoughtfully provided in his pics page).

I remember someone selling knitting klien bottle hats. That implies a very strange head.
