Hmm, blame me for the random shots of plants and rooms, scary red-eye, too many pictures of my legs when I forgot to adjust the zoom and suchlike silliness. There are some nices ones there though, but you might want to let the subjects know before putting them anywhere more obvious?

Scarily, this one of LNR reminds me of someone I was involved with for a bit while living in London. Made me do a bit of a doubletake :)

And who're the people in this one?

Hope I have the HTML correct - don't think comments are editable excet by deletion.

As [livejournal.com profile] ewx said, me and [livejournal.com profile] chiarklark

It is quite a nice photo, but I'm still curious as to why you picked it out?

Because I vaguely recognised you, having met you before (and in addition you reminded me of someone else I know) and I knew I didn;t recognise the mnice young lady beside you :)

No particularly rational reason, to be honest :)0

Thumbnails would be good if you have the time. <-:

Ooh that was quick *grin* - thanks. Maybe you can show antinomy how to do them that quickly. It's a lot easier when you want to go back and look at something especially when your link is a bit slow.

I used ImageMagick.

[identity profile] ewx.livejournal.com 2002-07-02 06:57 am (UTC)(link)

To generate the thumbnails:

for x in dcp*; do echo convert -scale 10% $x ${x/dcp/t}; done|sh

(leave off the |sh to check that the commands are sane)

To generate the text that goes in the index page:

identify t*| perl -ne '/(\d+\.jpg).*JPEG (\d+)x(\d+)/ && print "<a href=\"dcp$1\"><img src=\"t$1\" width=$2 height=$3></a>\n"'

You have to put all the rest of the HTML markup you need around the output of that. Adapt according to the filenames you've actually got, etc.

dcp00652.jpg should _definitely_ be the next caption competition :)

I think Sion's the person to suggest that to. I'm happy for him to use the photo, anyway, if he wants.
