I once had one where I was trying to get out of somewhere but the floors were covered in snakes. I was pubertal. I think it was Freudian.
I get the searching-a-house one occasionally, but it seems always to coincide with the times I wake up desperate for a pee, and it's not usually especially nightmarish.

Oh and there was the time I dreamed that a nuclear bomb had gone off somewhere nearby. No flash of light, no noise or movement, but an intense heat and both a feeling that I was in the moment of dying and that Jim (boyfriend at the time) had either died and I would never see him again or that I had and he'd never see me again. I woke up crying.
Teeth falling out. Common one, that.
Getting completely lost, usually combined with being late somewhere. I wonder if satnav and mobile phones will prevent the next generation from getting this dream, or if it's too primal for that (small child getting lost might get eaten by sabre tooth tiger, etc)
Menaced by venomous snakes.

...oh, and the most common one:
Being stuck in a dream state and unable to wake up - I think I've woken up, and then I pinch myself and find it's a false awakening. Repeated half a dozen times.

- Being in an alternate Addenbrookes
- Being shot. I have no idea if it was a realistic sensation, but it was most unpleasant.
- Being unable to run fast enough (sometimes away from something, sometimes towards something)
The being crushed underground one (when I was quite young) was nasty; I'd got under the bedclothes and got trapped with the blanket wrapped round me, and even after I woke up found it very difficult to get untangled and my head out to somewhere where I could breath sensibly.
Being unable to run fast, running through treacle or on sticky tarmac, are, I think, a result of legs being trapped in bedclothes.
Actually I have a whole memories section for this topic :-)

Being a rodent who saw the sky was full of skulls.

I have a confession to make: I shouldn't really have ticked the chased by people with fruit option.
However, I once had this fantastic dream where there were zombies attacking me and the only way to defend myself was using a banana (of which they were terrified).
In fact, I have zombies/vampires/evil monks dreams *fairly*, so in my taxonomy they have their own subset, rather than coming under anxiety dreams :) Not that I'm sure dreaming about zombie-related adventures are a sign of anxiety...
