It would depend on what religion I was changing from and to. If I was a lapsed <some Christian denomination> and I had to convert to being a half-arsed <some other Christian denomination>, I probably wouldn't mind.
If, in my current state of being more or less agnostic with some weird beliefs on the side, I had to convert to one of the Big religions (any denomination of), I'd say no, but if I only had to convert to Wicca or Druidry, I'd do that without complaint.
Off the royals in his generation, I must say Peter Phillips looks far and away the most characteristically inbred member of the European aristocracy. For all our sakes it's probably a good thing he's marrying a Canadian.
My paternal grandmother changed her religion when she married my grandfather (not sure whether this was before or after the wedding, though). And he wasn't even in line to the throne.

Hm, similar to Eni. To me it looks like I can't choose to change my religion. Atheist is what I am, because I don't believe in God, and the only way of changing that is to (a) start to believe in God (or some other belief system) via intensive brainwashing or (b) lying.
However, if I was christian, (or theist), and thought there was a God, but couldn't say which church was necessarily right, then I'd want to be part of some church, but it would be less important which. So it'd be a choice between the up-side of being in line for a throne, and the trade-off of the religions (did I have friends in the old church, etc).
It's really hard to imagine changing my religion for a relationship, because it's such a big part of who I am, not just an identity label. It might happen that I was in a relationship with someone from a different religious background, and their way seemed so obviously better than mine that I would want to learn more about it and eventually cross over. Then everyone would think that I'd changed my religion in order to marry the person, but they'd be wrong.
It's also extremely unlikely that I would date anyone who could count which number in line to the throne they were, because basically none of the royals is intelligent enough to be attractive to me. And having my relationship gossiped about in stupid magazines and tabloids would be really annoying.

Now you inspired me to go look up the british succession. According to Anyone descended from Electress Sophie of Hanover (and of legitimate birth, and not Catholic) is in the line of succession. It tries to list all descendants of her great-grandson Frederick, prince of wales.
The last is Countess Charlotte of Hohenau (b. 1917), great-granddaughter of Prince Albert of Prussia. The one with lowest google ranking is Maria von Pezold (one hit).
And other (including unknown) descendants of Sophie must be many thousands. Of course, the further someone is from the throne, the less reason there is to keep them in the succession, even if there's less problem with genetics and tabloids :)
