Breakin

Two laptops, PS/2, some jewelry gone. Smashed window at the back.

Bastards. I had my bike nicked the other day from the side of our house. It's not nice.

Bastards. My mother's house has just been burgled as well. No doubt she'll make much more of a fuss about it than you or any sane, rational person would, but it's always going to be a shit thing to happen to anyone :-(

Yuck, sorry. No fun.

Bugger. Sorry to hear that, especially after that attempted break-in a couple of days ago. *sympathy*

Bugger.

[identity profile] knell.livejournal.com 2009-02-13 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Bummer. Any theory that the two incidents are related? (Most burglars aren't really all that bright, as I understand it, and don't understand things like "don't return to the scene".)

Sorry to hear that :-(

Arse, and so soon after the last attempt. I hope it hasn't made you feel as horrible as it did last time. And that the insurers are still good about replacing things. Jewellry is a bugger though. *hug*

[identity profile] pseudomonas.livejournal.com 2009-02-14 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
Arse, that's unpleasant.

Did you see this article (http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn_news_home/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=393665) in today's CEN?
Meanwhile officers swooped on an address in Minerva Way, Cambridge on Friday at around 2.30pm.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of being behind a spate of break-ins in the Kings Hedges area of the city.
