My 5000th image

Seen on the way to lark_ascending's birthday party. That's the five-thousandth time I've worked the shutter, I've kept rather less than 5,000 photographs.

I tried several variations on this, but eventually decided I liked the most heavily exposed one best. I had a go at combining the foreground from it with the sky and cranes from a less exposed one (so a darker sky and the christmas lights on the cranes standing out much better) but the results were less than spectacular; although someone with more practice at that sort of thing might get better answers.
