For a while I used to contemplate being Catherine rather than Eleanor. But really it's no easier to spell since there are so many variants. And I seem to have rather grown back into my own name. I'm even getting used to being Ellie to lots of people again.
As for surname, I kind of like mine. I've had it a long time ;-)
