I note that my parents' local recycling thingy specifically says not to put wrapping paper in ...

I'm still reusing wrapping paper from 10 years ago (in ever smaller bits, for small presents and eventually for gift-tags) and I think I may be making a New Year's Resolution not to buy any wrapping paper / cards / etc. next Christmas ... I could easily make enough cards to send to everybody I know with the materials I already have in the house!
