The named tracks (http://www.idiotsavant.com/bueller/soundtrack.htm) are pretty cool in their own right but what's interesting is that The Beat - Coventry Ska at its finest - play all the way through the movie as the background themes and incidental music.
I don't think it's released in full anywhere, but Ranking Roger and Dave Wakeling reused some of it in a single Taking The Day Off released by their post-Beat band, 'General Public'.

I can't think of a third film, unless its Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's the soundtrack, you won't believe who did it.
