Personally I was rather hoping it'd all end at 7. Warren leaves you with an ending that you would have had to apply some imagination to, but I guess that doesn't sell comics in this day and age.
Not at all. I like my unhappy endings. V for Vendetta is a very good example of a downbeat ending, sure it's debatable whether it is or not but thats another story.
