I need to update my taxonomy of LJ usernames (http://www.livejournal.com/users/pseudomonas/62262.html) sometime, don't I?

I'd have expected "fungi", really, but ICBW. I'm also hazy about the separation of Monera and Archaea - I've been used to having the top taxon being Prokaryota/Archaea/Eukaryota, and then subdividing those at the next level.

Wikipedia seems to favour "Fungi", as does the NCBI (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search&DB=taxonomy).

AIs? None of them seem to have picked the “Other” box yet, whatever they may be. Perhaps they're shy?

Probably because of LJ trying to block bots.
