Custard-colored point of no return
Jun. 2nd, 2007 08:21 pmI've started painting the downstairs bright yellow. We'll see what it's like when it's (a) dry and (b) complete but thus far I think it's a good choice. The yellow bit will eventually extend up to the landing too, though there's a few damaged bits of wall to sort out before that can happen.
The shelf at the top of the living room will probably go red, though I've not entirely decided; I may go over it with the yellow paint first just to see what the result is like. The bright blue masking tape actually goes quite well with the yellow so that might be a good alternative if I can find some paint near that color.
Naath should be choosing a paint for her room sometime next week.

when we did Jack's room we got sample pots of 8 different ones and put a patch of each on all 4 walls, and spent a couple of weeks looking at them over and over in all available lightings.
i doubt you've gone to that extreme!
