...both in the passageway leading to the Turf. The 12 monkeys sign at least has been there for years; they're not the only memories I spent some time with in Oxford yesterday.

They'd been doing some fairly serious filming on New College Lane, though whatever was going on was finished by the time I got there.

We had an exclusive but enjoyable pubmeet. juggzy made ad-hoc daleks, insisting that I resembled David Tennant (she's not the first to do so, but the bar staff seemed unconvinced...) and therefore had to save the world.

Thanks to sesquipedality for providing somewhere to sleep.

I believe the current filming activity in Oxford is His Dark Materials. (Although given how advanced The Golden Compass appears to be, it seems a bit odd.)
