Want a CRT?

Anyone want a CRT monitor? I have a 19" NEC, a 17" Panasonic and a ?15" Samtron looking for a home. all now gone.

You collect from north Cambridge.

Alas, CRTs have negative value these days. If you had a 21" or larger, you might have had a chance, but even the skipweasels want - and get - flat panels these days.

Take them to the dump while you can still dispose of them for free.

Unfortunately seconded. I only just managed to freecycle a 21" Sun a few years ago. arkady has one because she likes it better for web stuff. We still have a spare 17" that I predict will never be used for anything anywhere ever again.

You're probably right. Still, there are a few people who say they prefer them, so it seems worth a shot.

I think I can find a home for the 19" one, surprisingly (and then I'll have to take the dodgy 17" it's replacing to the skip instead).

I can collect in a car, whereabouts and when would be convenient?
