They recruited a lot of the cast on the same day, it seems. I imagine a prequel series following the recruits on their training and early assignments, a bit analogous to Grey’s Anatomy only feds instead of doctors.

“Do all your friends ask you to research third-world military contractors?” Well, don’t yours?

What to say? Some more nice visuals. Lloyd Simcoe isn’t very subtle. Not surprised to see Wedeck cut a deal with Aaron: but I can’t help but think he sees him as a weapon rather than a person. Frost’s doing his own dirty work at last, although how much of the dirty work we’ve seen so far was ultimately Frost’s isn’t clear.

Postscript: “Does the name Jericho ring a bell?” Actually yes, but it rings a bell for Ashes To Ashes - the 6-6-20 carved into Drake’s desk is, assuming it’s the same Bible code as used earlier, Joshua 6:20, which is the fall of Jericho:

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Your just fuelling my Flashforward/Ashes to Ashes crossover dreams now!

(And the bit where Forst turned up on the bench next to Charlie had already spookily reminded me of that dream I had where he abducted me and my secret calculator.)

P.S. I'm looking forward to finding out what Alex's 6620 is, because when they did a number thing with Sam in Life on Mars the resolution was lovely. What was Sam's number again?

A couple more thoughts:

Why no Simon in this episode? Possibly because last week Janis told him she was a mole? I suppose they couldn't have had him in it this week without resolving that.

Janis is surely several weeks pregnant by now. On April 29th, she's far enough gone to sex the baby (I'm sure she says how many weeks at some point). Didn't Demetri think to ask about this earlier? And something that's been niggling me for a while: Janis has her scan quite late in the evening, which doesn't sound like normal hospital practice to me.

I hope they manage to avert Demetri's fate. (In fact, maybe Forst is trying to do the same, since he's supposed to die as well??) Latest theory: Zoe kills Demetri when she finds out he fathered Janis' baby :)

Given the timescale I would bet that Frost is trying to avert his own death, indeed - the question is whether he’s trying to avert Noh’s too, or whether Noh is a pawn he’s planning to sacrifice in the process.
