Loyalties are becoming clear at last. Frost was, rather cautiously, working with the organization behind Marcie, Flosso and Alda Herzog; they fell out for some reason, around the time of the blackout. Campos seems to have been knowingly, albeit unwillingly, part of it; Simcoe probably didn’t realize who his experiment was helping.

Frost’s map has Ansible theory in it. The painting was Oedipus And The Sphinx by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres.

I’m quite surprised to discover that the FBI don’t have cellphones specifically design to allow their colleagues to listen in; the bad guy phoning you when you’re at the advertized meeting place is not exactly unheard of, after all.

I note they've bought 6 years in which to do new seasons too.

God, that's a lot of FlashForward. BTW, I like these weekly summaries.

I'm quite surprised the FBI don't have cellphones with cameras. Benford could've tried photographing Frost's map before it melted.

I was thinking this too :) I guess maybe he was overemotional and didn't think it would be a problem to wait until after getting Demetri out of the chair.

It wasn't the FBI's cellphone was it though? I thought Frost sent the 'phone in the bag with the kid, and then left one in the car... presumably on the assumption that FBI 'phones are all bugged.

You could be right, I'd thought it was Benford's phone but perhaps that was wrong...

I just have to say: yay, Demetri! I was still nervous after Mark saved him, because it's pretty standard in trying-to-avoid-one's-fate stories to get run over (or similar) just after you think you've been saved :)

I'm rather sad about Frost - he was a good baddie, I thought. And I was thinking of him as the Mr Big, as it were, until now. Hmm.

Like [livejournal.com profile] naath, I thought the phone was in the backpack that the boy gave him.
