I've not had a what-am-I-doing update for a while. Over the weekend we went north to visit LNR's family, which was quite nice apart from being exhausted. I finished Burns' book on the Falklands war, which was interesting; it could have done with a bit more indication of his sources particularly for some of the more remarkable claims. It was an interesting insight into Argentina, though. This evening we went had dinner at the Chinese place on Burleigh St, which was nice (a bit pricey but large portions); bought some glass placemates and coasters to replace our current set which are getting rather tatty (we dropped them twice on the way home due to crap carrier bags but they seem to have survived undamaged); and then went to see Tomb Raider which was fun but silly.
