NTL has apparently lost the ability to talk to Google. Makes me realize quite how much I rely on it...

Seems to have been a bit more complicated than that; the name servers for google.com were giving different answers for queries for A www.google.com, and only a subset worked. Seems to be behaving a bit better for me at the moment...
