Off to Marna's party on Saturday night, unfortunately without LNR. Spent some of the time on the (slow...) train feeling her absence rather strongly but navigating my way through the tube and the cloned blocks of flats in Bermondsey took my mind off it and I didn't any trouble enjoying myself once I'd arrived. Good things:
- Cuddly people
- Chatting to many different people
- Meeting online people in person
- Late-night park trips
- Fire-poi
Odd things:
- Being told I talked like (have I got this right)
mouseboks
Bad things:
- Having to get up circa 9am to get back to Cambridge after about 4 hours sleep
...and the reason to get back to Cambridge was work's punt trip and BBQ. I spent a fair time punting and the food was nice but once I'd eaten the tiredness kicked in. Enjoyable anyway though.

It hadn't struck me, but I can see where it comes from. [nod]
