I'm thinking of calling it 'Disorder', or possibly 'DisOrder' (because StudlyCapsArePretty). As far as I can see there isn't already a bit of software with this name.
Hmm. I quite like "Discord" as a name; both the overtones of disco, plus the overtones of jarring-songs-next-to-each-other, plus it's an explicitly sonic word...
It would be a good name, yes, though there already seems to be an outfit calling itself "Discord Software", and I'm a little wary of creating naming collisions for a variety of practical reasons.
As I said to Richard over the washing up, I quite like the name because you can use it to play tracks in "dis order" if you want to pick them yourself or "disorder" otherwise. And he likes it because it ties in with the etymology of jukebox.
There's already a piece of software using essentially that name (http://www.shareup.net/Audio-MP3/Audio-Player/Virtual-Wurlitzer-JukeBox-review-1633.html). And I'm not sure I want to go too near the real Wurlitzer company's trademarks.
