I'm not usually very good at answering questions of the form "what's your favourite <whatever>?". But among films, Broken Arrow would have to come in towards the top of the list. Granted the plot is nothing special (and in a couple of places makes no sense) but how can you not like a film with a helicopter count and lines like the above? And the soundtrack is really good too.

I notice that, at least among the first 20 people to fill in the poll below, eight people answered it pretty much according to the song (though two of those weren't quite right). Wonder how people decide whether to answer that kind of poll "straight" or not.

More mobile than yesterday but still very tired.

I did enjoy Broken Arrow, but I have no particular desire to see it again, for instance.

One of my coworkers raised the very important complaint that the close-quarters detonation of a nuclear device wasn't the loudest sound in the film. (-8

Depends how serious I'm feeling. As it happened I'd been humming the song for some time this morning anyway so you just got it straight.

I noticed that too (the song thing). I just decided they were dull people who aren't surreal enough, but then wondered whether it could just have been a cumulative effect since I aswered it pretty late. People should be more surreal.
