I'm not going to do the map lemming, but the places I've been are England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland (both), Jersey, France, Germany (not DDR), Switzerland, Italy, Crete and cutting through a corner of Austria. Places I'm interested in visiting sometime in my life include Turkey, Canada, the USA and Japan.

The DDR was quite a nice destination, if a bit surreal/scary. I must go back at some point and see how it has changed. Leipzig was a nice city, but the Russian tanks rather spoiled the view...

I went to the DDR after it stopped being the DDR. It was pretty nice actually, although you could certainly see the after-effects of dreary concrete Soviet architecture in e.g. Erfurt and Weimar.

If you came to visit us, you could see the US and then Canada is only a 3 hour drive away. And Washington and British Columbia are both very beautiful places :)
