they should be anonymous unless you're handing it to the intended recipient, in which case you might as well sign it.

Nah, they should be anonymous in such a way that it's obvious who they're from. Never signed... otherwise what's the point?

If I receive any Valentine's cards, I will be... very surprised.

Valentine's cards are things that happen to Other People.

Seconded. I've only ever received one, and it was from the national blood service.

I think I got one of those too, or maybe it was my housemate, I only remember we both agreed it was highly insensitive and mocking us.

I remember thinking that "I want your blood" seemed an appropriately ironic message for the car. Perhaps one of [livejournal.com profile] beckyc's UnValentine cards could say that.

UnValentines parties, from which couples (and in some instances, anyone who is not at the time single) are excluded, are a marvellous way to consolidate the twitter & bisted(tm) feelings in society.

Lifetime totals: Sent 0 Recieved 2... I'd like the recieved total to go up, but it seems a bit selfish to expect that to happen without increasing the sent total.

It might be good or bad for the person who goes nuclear but I think the assumption is that it's bad for everyone else.

I think if I get one from anyone other than [livejournal.com profile] bopeepsheep I'll go unclear.
