When things are urgent at work, it's useful to run all the builds inside a screen, so I can conveniently check on their progress from home. When things aren't so urgent (not that I'm ever short of stuff do), it's important not to do this, as otherwise I'll be tempted to check on their progress from home.

The DisOrder rewrite is proceeding nicely. The Boehm garbage collector is an incredible boon. iconv_open's backwards parameter ordering has bitten me twice. I'm still dithering over the approach to take for the web interface, the main choices being a CGI written in C; beating up the old Perl CGI until it supports the new backend; or a built-in HTTP server. (I'll probably end up going for the first of these in practice, though rather a lot of the infrastructure to support the third is already there.)
