That's odd

While I was still using a PCI wireless adapter to talk to my iBook, the latter required me to explicitly select the house wlan every time I woke it up. But having switched to a separate WAP, without having changed anything on the iBook, it now finds it automatically.

I haven't quite finished this yet, but it's definitely started on the wrap-up (perhaps more noticable in Simmons because you get used to books where you reach the last page and there's another book or three to go) - the side-conflicts are being finished off and the real one is finally underway. I'm expecting the overall resolution to involve a pun.

It's making me want to re-read Lord Of Light.
