"other cereal": either Alpen or Harvest Crunch with nuts. I eat the former on work days and the latter at weekends and on holidays, which has the nice effect of causing me to know viscerally that I'm not going to work that day as soon as I take a mouthful of breakfast.
"milk": but only because it's poured on the cereal. I don't usually feel a need to drink a separate glass of anything with my breakfast.
As for the cereal, the variety in Germany seems to be wider, from what I see—especially the many variations on "Müesli". And I don't eat a specific kind but tend to have a different kind each time I'm done with one box.
Though I wish one could get hold of Shredded Wheat here... it brings back memories of a holiday in England, eating Shredded Wheat over mashed banana with warm milk in a caravan. Mmmmm. (Two biscuits, by the way.)
