Quite a busy Saturday: cycling in Thetford Forest, followed by beckyc's party. Photos.

I've not really done any off-road cycling before, unless you count a few tracks outside Cambridge. We started out straight onto the black route which was OK at first but later on became rather challenging. Fortunately by this point we were in a relatively good place to switch to the much easier blue route, although we'd lost Tom and had to re-establish contact.

Becky's party was very good, with some great outfits, and I didn't even have too much of hangover the following morning.

Monday's Karate lesson saw a reasonable amount of progress on Heian Yondan; having read up on it over the weekend I think I understand the bits I was stuck on previously, though actually doing those bits in a coherent manner is still tricky.
