House of Flying Daggers

It seems to be a while since I've said much here. I had a nice weekend, starting with seeing House Of Flying Daggers with Vicky, which I enjoyed though somehow I felt that it suffered from arbitrariness where inevitability belonged. On Saturday we headed down to Mole's for what turned out to be a relatively exclusive but very well catered little gathering; I particularly enjoyed the Plov. Very tired by the end of the day though.

Sunday was more relaxed; as well as clearing several days accumulated washing up, between that and this evening I've made DisOrder's handling of per-track preferences somewhat more user-friendly; punctuated by a fairly vigorous hour of karate training this evening which left me glad we've already had several sessions to put holiday idleness behind.
