I've tidied my desk, and so has LNR. On the upside the iBook now has a sensible place to live while connected to a proper screen, and my desk no longer looks like you could catch something off it; on the downside I seem to have lost my Brood War CD.

Have you applied the ibook dual-head hack (http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/ibook_e.html)?

I haven't. That website seems to be a classic example of how to bury some presmubly useful information in a pile of largely unhelpful "news" messages.

The site is pretty bad, yes. But I can vouch for the effectiveness of the hack, on my G3 iBook at least. :)

is it significant that lnr was moved to tidy your desk after you had essayed this feat [a]?    ([b])

[a] - s/feat/herculean task/ - ?

[b] - "any flat surface has to take its chances around me" [c] - ?

[c] - the real dick eney, as reported by tamar lindsay, afp, c.1994
