28 Days Later

beckyc and I watched 28 Days Later last night, which is great stuff. It's a British zombie film - though not a comedy as Shaun Of The Dead was - directed by Danny Boyle of Trainspotting fame (and Jim is definitely looking a bit like Mark Renton towards the end.)

We thought the music in the fight scenes towards the end was familiar, possibly from an advert; and indeed this is so (look for John Murphy).

Oh, thanks for reminding me, I did look it up last night and didn't get round to posting the results (Independently I figured it was In The House In A Heartbeat. I can't remember which of us realised it was a car ad though.

Which reminds me that I still need to get hold of a copy of the Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice (used in Closer) since it is an excellent song and so I should, er, buy it. Um, yeah. Not wait for it to be burnt for me.

You said it sounded familiar probably from an advert, I thought it sounded like car-ad music. Evidently so did the advert designer. Though I'm sure they wouldn't want one to associate their car with retributive violence.
