Cultural differences in zombie films

The British and the Americans make different zombie films: in the latter, you are doomed, and even when you've found a refuge, it turns out to be infested with zombies already, and you get eaten. The end (of the world). When the zombies come to Britain, however, it'll be bad - really bad - but sooner or later the British Army or the RAF will come through. Probably because when push came to shove, sixty years ago, they did. (Nazi zombies: I see a great need.) Meanwhile:
