Theres got to be a better way - how about we shoot tourists? We'd only have to take out, say, one in ten, enough to get a reputation as potentially dangerous, and they'll stop coming. Problem solved.

I suspect that people travelling in to Cambridge to work or shop here make up the bulk of the traffic, rather than tourists.

Well, I don't know, you only need to take out a bit of the traffic to make everything easier for everyone. And it'd be a fun afternoon for the locals.

Not necessarily. Have you any idea how bad traffic would be that day, once the police and ambulances got wind of what was going on? Little forensics tents everywhere, news crews, fleeing tourists… it doesn't bear thinking about.

But I agree it might be worth it in the medium term.

Sure, its a day of road traffic hell, but we do it on a friday afternooon noone will ever notice it being any worse than normal. Besides I was hoping for officially sanctioned executions, rather than pot-shots into the crowd. Not sure how that'll go down with the human rights lot, but I think we can talk them around. Its a worthwhile cause, after all....that said, doubtless the boys in blue would like any excuse to play with the tech they buy for such occassions, so we'd probably have to invite them too, while we're at it, just to make sure they don't feel left out.
