Re your last option, have you seen Selwyn's chapel? :)

Err, it may have been in my field of view from time to time, but not while I was paying attention, so not really.

Red brick rules (http://rubens.anu.edu.au/raid1/cdroms/webready/england/oxford/colleges/keble/exterior/).

I was just thinking there should be a similar poll for Keble.

(Mmmm… Arco… red brick…)

no no no. see, that's red and black and white, which is totally different.

(have you seen the view from the roof of the chapel? it's spectacular! And on the way up you get to pass vintage (as in 1800s) graffiti)

It's somewhat unfortunate that it reminds me of a car park.

Err, it's better than fitz and churchill. I think the one thing they got really wrong was not having grass in the middle of the courts - that's why the red brick is so overwhelming, I think, because there's no plants to break it up. If Trinity great court had a white stone floor for all of it, it'd look hidious too!

The gardens are lovely.

I'm not sure I've been in Robinson's gardens.

You've certainly been in sight of them; they look quite pretty even from the window of Duncan's old room.

I think Churchill looks great too - rather like a Doom level.

The chapel is fantastic, judging from the photos on the college website. Demolish the rest of the college around it, or is everything tangled together like the Barbican Centre?

IIRC it's all connected together, but I could be wrong about that.

Someone needs to make a Robinson College level for an FPS game.

There was the final deathmatch-style shotout in one of the Assassins' Guild games there once. It was good, but a bit too big for the purpose. There days I guess the porters might have more to say about randoms running round with waterguns....

It's the only college whose main buildings are younger than I am (and that I have observed being built).

Robinson is okay, but would look better if it were all concrete. Beton brut rocks.
