I took the politicalsurvey2005.com politics.beasts.org answers I've seen people on my friends list give, and put them together:

...we seem to largely share our position, with some outliers, on the "axis of UKIP"; but are much more spread out on the other one.

For extra bonus points, photoshop to make the difference between red, blue, orange and black more obvious, and add an imagemap so clicking on a black blob takes you to the relevant user's lj page :-)

Actually I think that it might be a feature that you have to do at least some legwork to do the inverse mapping from coordinates to people. (But I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise l-)
