I took the politicalsurvey2005.com politics.beasts.org answers I've seen people on my friends list give, and put them together:

jiggery_pokery burkesworks karen2205 atreic mpinna vyvyan rmc28 lnr beingjdc lusercop ceb pm215 ewx senji kaet fivemack beckyc pseudomonas gareth_rees womble2 uon tienelle meirion iwj emperor stark gerald_duck livredor aldabra rejs imc deliberateblank

...we seem to largely share our position, with some outliers, on the "axis of UKIP"; but are much more spread out on the other one.

Yes, that one's you. I used you and the northernmost free-marketeer to determine the multipliers from coordinates to pixels.

gah!

What an insane effort! You could just have asked me for the appropriate gnuplot commands....

For extra bonus points, photoshop to make the difference between red, blue, orange and black more obvious, and add an imagemap so clicking on a black blob takes you to the relevant user's lj page :-)

Actually I think that it might be a feature that you have to do at least some legwork to do the inverse mapping from coordinates to people. (But I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise l-)

Since lots of the values are in this posting now the ‘feature’ theory seems pretty much dead. So I've done the imagemap thing.

I was worried that I was out on my own, a fairly hard-line internationalist free-marketeer.

I have a horrible suspicion I share my corner with Paul Wolfowitz.
