A rather mixed weekend. On Friday we travelled down to London, accompanied by S+J, and had a lovely evening of people, pizza, booze, sweets, usw.

Saturday morning was just hungover, but lunchtime was a pleasant wander around a market, with pain au chocolat and a venison burger (in the wrong order) to eat. But over Saturday afternoon I gradually slid into despondency for no obvious reason, and despite some bright spots where people made an effort to talk to me we eventually gave up and went home. (Fortunately the trains were OK, if they'd been as bad as the previous time we'd been to London I'd be feeling like giving up on the place entirely.)

Sunday has been largely quiet and lazy. I'm glad we got the washing-up done before going out on Friday. We'll probably have a takeaway for dinner.

Had a nice Sunday evening which did help but kept waking up during the night which didn't. & it was nice to see you, too.
