DisOrder development
Oct. 15th, 2005 05:07 pmI've been working on DisOrder a lot lately. There are a few wrinkles left to sort out but new features that will be in the next version include:
- Pausing
- No more dead air between tracks
- New buttons to move tracks straight to the head or tail of the queue
- Lookahead to see what track will be randomly picked next
- Edit preferences for a whole album at once
- Some UI tweaks
Part of the important point about pausing is that it releases the sound device while paused, so you can play sound using some other program - the main reason I've wanted to pause a track in the past.
Unless I can figure out a good way to fit in bulk movement of tracks into the queue without doing too much violence to the current interface that'll be the feature list for the next release.
Network play is still at the stage of having conversations in pubs...
