The Big Lebowski is so good. Especially when watched with the proper drink.

Valentine's Day turned out pretty well. (Sent 2, received 0, since you didn't ask; at a cost of not a penny, unless you count the capital cost of camera and lenses.) My plan was Tuna Aurora followed by chocolate cake, but naath turned up with some nice pastries (courtesy of edith_the_hutt) and apricot tart. But it all fit together well enough, with the accompaniment of a pleasant chardonay during the main course and half a bottle of 1996 Chateaux Loubens Sainte-Croix-Du-Mont with the pudding, transmitted to Cambridge by my Dad some time ago and awaiting a suitable occasion ever since; which was excellent.

Consequently the chocolate cake is still in the cupboard awaiting some suitably flimsy excuse.

It is good, isn't it? It always makes it onto my list of Ten Most Favourite, whenever it's mentioned. I love the easy rambliness of it; the way that the plot was moved on through realistically shambolic conversations.
