Not representative then? I think it's the first one I've seen since I went to Oxfrod. I don't think I'll be queueing to see another...

Some really good stuff as well, but didn't quite work somehow. Had potential to be like one of those good postmodern episodes of the X-files where you're seeing things from someone else's perspective, but not quite there...

Next weeks doesn't look too promising either (this may be my 2012 Olympics grudge coming out), but I've heard from reliable sources that the last two will be pretty damm amazing.

Anyway, think of Torchwood. Captain Jack!

I had bit of a feeling someone had been reading too much John Constantine (if there is such a thing). I suppose Tennant's Doctor might not make a too bad JC, actually, if he spent a few years smoking 20 a day...

Looked like the stars went on hols but it was really well done and there was some very subtle humour/flashbacks. N didnt quite get it but we will watch the reruns tomorrow. Red wine helps in appreciation of anything (and in this case so does being a girl - that guy has a way cute ass!).

Doctor Who Confidential explained it was shot at the same time as the previous episodes, so the stars were indeed elsewhere most of the time.
I thought it made an interesting change, but didn't work terribly well.

When it started, I thought "this looks interesting". But it wasn't. One of the crappiest storylines ever Who'd, with weak dialogue too. Wossisname worked hard, but he couldn't carry it.

It was bad in so many ways. But Marc Warren is so cuuuute! It would have been better as some bizarre DW spin off than an actual episode of the show...

I watched the first ten minutes of my video and gave up... I can't stand that sort of video blog style, and the flashback approach is just maddening.

I rather enjoyed it.

Oh well. A good example of people's differing tastes. :-)
