Tonight's Dr Who
Jul. 8th, 2006 08:52 pmI loved the dialog in this episode. First the Cybermen and the Daleks: it'd be dick-sizing if either of them actually had any kind of generative organ. “YOU ARE BETTER AT DYING.” While the repeated resurrection of the daleks is getting a little old I think it was worth it for that conversation.
Secondly the Tylers. “I'm rich.” “How rich.” “Very.” “How very?” I predicted the last one but possibly only because I'd re-read Falling In Love over
naath's shoulder the other evening.
We were hoping that the ‘genesis ark’ would turn out to be the Master's TARDIS. No such luck; perhaps we'll get him back next series.
Last week I wrote, ‘Yvonne was good. Totally amoral yet somehow completely sincere’. Her lines argue for overwhelming loyalty to her country being the thing that made her rebel, but I think that really she was just a sociopath to start with and therefore not affected by the dehumanizing process used by the cybermen.

But didn't the Master actually get to the end of his regeneratiins and die, in the original serieseseses?
