I was assuming ear piercings count as two, as they are two seperate holes.

I had a very small operation to cut the small flap of skin you get in the middle of your upper teeth, and of course have the stick-inna-arm.

Hmmmm, is a navel piercing worksafe or not? Probably is because showing it in public isn't going to get me arrested for indecent exposure, but it's not exactly something that would be suitable to display at work.

I've counted plastic surgery for correction of congenital abnormalities (cleft lip and palate) as "some other kind of body modification", though the purpose of it clearly differs from cosmetic adornment.

I have a scar; that's arguably a negative cosmetic modification, but it's minor and accidental so I didn't include it.

I counted my ears seperately. I might get tattoed at some point, but I'm also considering trying it out with eyeliner first. All WS.

In fact, one of coworkers has a back tattoo which is occasionally visible, and another has a belly button piercing likewise. So they're WS, because I work in a primary school and it's really strict.

I now see that other people have counted (presumably a pair of) ear piercings as one. I currently have two pairs of ear piercings (amounting to a total of four holes), but I am planning to get another (single) one on Friday. :)

Total holes, 5; total actual separate piercing events, 4. Still >3 :-) Ambitions for more piercings, 1; tattoos I'd love but will never be able to get because tats squick M completely, 2.

Not having any NWS piercings though. My bits work just fine as is, and I don't trust bits of metal near my nerves.

Cut marks that were made deliberatly, but have now faded.

I need to get them redone and added to at some point. The problem is in the eyes of the law although you can make holes in people with their consent you cannot make cut marks.

Also, I sometimes have lots of bruises. :)

Piercings - yes! Nostril [years ago, maybe healed], both nipples (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stu_dio/330520813/in/set-72157600519767307/), one or possibly both conches (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stu_dio/331754942/in/set-72157600519767307/), tongue IIRC)

Tattoos - three that I'm aware of, one of which is Not Small (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stu_dio/359423808/in/set-72157600519767307/), and one Large (spikey tribal design, just visible in that pic on his shoulder blade - it goes across to the other shoulder, down his back and continues most of the way down one (possibly both) legs.

Other mods, NWSness - well not as far as *I* know ! 8-)

Counted each hole in each ear separately (2 holes per ear). Nothing exciting, I'm afraid!
