[x] I like it, but I'd rather have more orangutans about the place.

Peanut butter should contain nothing but peanuts.

There's a dollop of palm oil to give it that buttery texture.

Either.
Both if you like.
With banana in a sarnie made with decent bread, with a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg in it.

and maybe some bacon

I used to love the stuff, but after it started to make my mouth feel burnt and my lips numb, I thought I'd better not have it any more :-/. Smooth was nicer, but it depends on my mood.

I should try it again (it's summer, I'm on antihistamines).

Oh, and it's only a "might" be a very slight allergy, not a proper peanut allergy. A few cooked peanuts - fine, a few raw nuts = sore mouth.

I like smooth peanut butter, and yet I prefer my marmalade with bits in. But I'm weird like that. ;)

Is there still that health-food shop on bridge street where they make it while you wait from peanuts and they have a big dial that goes all the way from rough to smooth? Crunchy to smooth I mean.

If there is, someone should add it to the Open Guide to Cambridge. I want to visit Cambridge and see that machine.

Well, the health food shop is still there, I've never been in though. I'm afraid while they have some good things I tend to find them a bit too "alternative therapy" for my taste. I'll go look next time I'm in town though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm just fascinated by this make-it-while-you-wait thing :)
