It's hard to tell with the close-up-ness, but it might be a saintpaulia / African violet?

Hmm. "Close-up-ness"? I'd have thought "Closeness-up". Not that I've ever seen anyone try to form that construction before.

(Alas, I've no idea what it's a photo of. I look at the photo and go "it's a flower!". Fear my leet botanic skills.)

If the flowers are arranged up a stem, could be hollyhock. Try looking at images of lavatera and althaea also.

I am firmly of the opinion that when forming non-standard constructions one is free to do whatever one wants. Hence a "staple getter-outerer".
