(Even if you use a car to get here, take the landrover tour rather than driving round yourself. I’m completely certain you’ll get far more out of it.)

Vicuna, a wild relative of llamas and alpacas (to which they are perhaps ancestral).

The river's still tidal through most of Inverness, so rises and falls a fair way.

We did take the landrover tour, although I think by the end the driver was worrying I was an undercover inspector of their disease control regimes ;-)
