I spent a couple of hours waiting for this so youʼd better appreciate the photos l-)

There were a lot of press:

There were a lot of police:

...many of them from the French Gendarmerie:

There were a lot of support vehicles:

...with the locals getting the biggest cheers:

Medical support also tended to get cheers (actually almost everything on wheels did):

A few people had better views:

Eventually some actual competitors turned up:

Followed by lunch with F on Parker’s Piece l-)
